How does making music bingo work?

Music bingo is a fun game for a night in the pub, birthdays, work dos, fundraisers and more. Here we explain how to make your own free music bingo cards and how to play the game.

๐ŸŽต What is Music Bingo?

Music bingo works just like regular bingo, but instead of numbers, songs are played. Each player has a bingo card with squares, each filled with a different song title. When a song is played and it's on your card, you cross it off. The first person to get a row, column or full card shouts "BINGO!"

With MusicBingoMaker.com you can easily generate unique music bingo cards. Each card has a different order so no one has the same card. You can download up to 20 cards for free as a PDF. All you need is your own Spotify playlist!

๐Ÿ“‹ Making music bingo in 5 steps

1

๐ŸŽถ Enter songs

Enter at least 25 songs you want to use for your music bingo. The more songs, the longer the game. We recommend 40 to 60 songs.

2

๐ŸŽจ Choose a theme

Choose a fun theme for your cards, such as Christmas, Summer or Purple. You can also upload your own background for a personal touch.

3

โฌ‡๏ธ Download your cards

Download 20 unique music bingo cards for free as a PDF. Each card has a unique layout so no one has the same card. Want more? Choose 50, 100 or 200 cards.

4

๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Print and hand out

Print the cards and hand them out to the players. Play the songs on Spotify or YouTube and let everyone cross off their card.

5

๐Ÿ† BINGO!

The first player to get a row, column, cross or full card shouts BINGO! Check the card with the checklist included in the PDF.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Also playable digitally, no printing needed

Did you know every order also comes with a unique link to play digitally? Everyone automatically gets their own card on their mobile, for exactly as many players as the number of cards you bought.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips for a great music bingo night

  • โœ…Use songs everyone knows: big hits and sing-along classics work best.
  • โœ…Enter more than 25 songs so not everyone gets BINGO at the same time.
  • โœ…Play each song for at least 20 to 30 seconds so everyone can recognise it.
  • โœ…Use the included checklist to keep track of which songs have been played.
  • โœ…Make it extra fun with small prizes for the winners, like a voucher or a round on the house!
  • โœ…Choose a theme that suits the occasion: Christmas for the Christmas party, Summer for a barbecue.

๐ŸŽ‰ What occasions is music bingo suitable for?
